$1/$3 weekend afternoon

Another hand where I just sat down basically 2-3 hands ago. Either the 1st or 2nd hand I raise AQo from MP and took down the blinds.

I switched seats after this hand to see the game lol.

Hero UTG($470): dealt two red kings and raises to $15
UTG2(older white guy): Calls
HJ: calls
CO(main V): calls

Flop($60?): 4cJc4d
H: bet $25
Hj: Folds
CO V(looks middle age, foreign, white, dressed business like?): raises to $75

Hero: ??

V started this hand with about $700, no idea how long he’s been at the table. I don’t like assuming people just raise here with flush draw so it made me think. Seems basic but the at the moment I was like In another silly but prolly simple situation

Call and evaluate. Lot of people do that with AJ or KJ in 1/3. On the flop I would prefer smaller, larger or sometimes even checking instead of half pot.

As played call. 25% pot or check on flop.

I think flop bet is good We're looking to get value from PPs, Jacks and draws. They're really shouldn't be a whole ot of 4s in their ranges, perhaps A4s, and 54s.

I assume UTG2 folded on flop?

As played, call is good, and I'm checking most turns.

Sorry UTG2 called the 25

I limp in but that's me.

SPR is 7.5 and we're 4way, plus we gave everyone awesome IO preflop of 30++:1. So I definitely don't want to work myself towards commitment (which large bets could do at this SPR). So I would lean to a small bet or a check, and with my nitty image and not wanting to turn my hand face up on the table, I would lean to a flop check.

At these SPRs, if we're betting, I mostly fold to raises. If we're not comfortable doing that, then I don't bet and make sure I get to showdown. Calling the raise here creates a $210 pot with only $380 left, so he can easily make us play for stacks by the river.

Key takeaway for me would be: have a plan. i.e. know exactly how you're going to deal with facing a raise (because that is a very viable case) before you bet.

ETA: Knowing that UTG2 called our flop bet, and thus Villain is raising two opponents (any of whom who could be sitting here with the nuts) is pretty concerning. If betting, I'm fine with folding.
