1/3 7 handed
Kinda on the loose aggressive pre side, 2-3 guys were 3betting pre, some were flatting hands as strong as QQ, and others were just extremely call happy pre flop with any junk

Villain 1 $120- loose aggro pre, he pounces on weakness and isn't afraid of value betting super thin whether he knows it or not. Ran up a big stack and then lost it all back. Tilting a bit I guess

Villain 2- $240- Weak tight, Some young guy who was reading a newspaper, limping, opening some, and cbetting obvious A high boards.

Hero $360- TAG/NIT. I have an absolutely god awful image. I lost 4 50bb AI pots and I haven't shown and i've been losing smaller pots at showdown as well. I'm not sure if people were thinking I was a complete spew tard or a nit or what because of my losing image, and I made a pretty standard AI call otf (20bbs) with second pair no kicker on a drawy board board vs a spazz and a few guys were shaking their heads. That said, i'm probably viewed as a FoF guy who just doesn't like to fold when he has a decent hand.

folds, V2 makes it $13, V1 calls, I call OTB AKss, sb folds, BB calls,

Flop: 2s 3c 7s ($52)
V2 bets $18, V1 calls, Hero raises $80?

If v2 were the one to bet I would say it's fine but in this situation I think most times just calling is best, now if he jams you're almost obligated to call and you can't really love it. And sometimes if he shuts down with A10-AQ/KQ/KJ/QJ you can sometimes bet on the turn or even check behind and get to showdown with most likely the best hand.

You should be 3betting this. not close.

and this is coming from me... (I flat AK a lot more than some 2p2ers)

There seems to be a lot of threads with flat calling AKs in position preflop -- is it that unusual to 3 bet?

I am 3 betting AKs OTB around 90% of the time, and only flatting on occasion to merge my range.

Not standard AI call.

3bet preflop, bet flop, if he check raises, then shove. Doubt he has a set here, and will probably fold most cards. Even with tp, you're drawing very good.

Here's how the hand should have played out: you 3bet PF, then shove the flop.

As played, raise seems fine. But we can't fold now if he shoves.

I would have considered just playing the draw here and Flatting, since we have already gone down the passive path PF. We don't want to fold out all the hands we have beat. We're forcing villain to narrow his range to overpairs and sets.

+1, IMO, and I also flat AK way more than others here

We're in shortish stacked territory here (villains only have 70 BBs and 40 BBs respectively), plus there's dead money in the pot (which helps making up for times we do get all the money in preflop as a slight underdog), plus we're in position. I'd lean towards raising more than I would flatting in this situation.

Definitely 3bet PRE.

But as played, I've got no issue with your flop raise. Both villains are short, and with the money in the pot, you're plus EV against V2's range.
