Table: 2/5, 6pm, Wednesday evening. Lots of limp/folding. Lot of fit or fold play post flop. 10 handed.
Villain 1: A little bit aggressive, opening a decent range pre flop, but he's not adjusting for position well enough. Opens the same range from up front than he does in LP. Very scared money pre flop though. He's laid down JJ and QQ face up to very obvious 4bet squeezes for 100bb. But he has cold called a few 3bets IP. His opening range is 88+, AQo+, AJs+, KQs
$750
Villain 2: Short stack, bad rec player. Limps way too much pre flop. He hasn't really won any good pots. Has made a lot of calls pre or on the flop only to later fold the hand. Not overly aggressive.
$225
Hero: Pretty aggressive all day long. I've been seen showing down some weaker hands after raising and barreling IP. No one is playing back at me though. Just lots more calling pre and folding post. I've worked my way up to $1000 from my $500 buy in.
$1000
Pre:
2 folds
V1 opens from MP to $25
3 folds
V2 flats from the CO
1 fold
Hero 3bets to $125 with A
K
from the SB
1 fold
V1 flats
V2 says something like 'screw this guy' and 4bet shoves for $225
Hero reshoves for $750 effective
Given the previous hands where V folded QQ and JJ to 4bets, I think I can get him to fold 88-QQ. Clearly I'm smashed by KK/AA but I think his flat of my 3bet really caps his range as he would likely 4bet either of these pre flop. Thoughts?
