I would 4bet preflop to $75. We have the perfect image to do this, he most likely has a big hand that ain't folding to a 4bet, this 4bet sizing prevents setmining odds, lets get some money in preflop before his AK can fold a whiffed flop / KK folds an A flop / QQ folds a A/K flop / etc. If he manages to fold QQ/JJ to the young aggrotard he can't wait to crush, good for him.

As played, SPR is 8ish. Cripes, what a horrible flop as QQ/JJ just got there and even AK has outs. It's unlikely this guy is going to barrel AK. We beat KK (a real possibility) who could manage a hero fold putting us on QQ/JJ. My plan would be to call the first two streets and then soul read the river.

Don't know why we are raising the turn. KK makes too many hero folds (imo) and otherwise we own ourselves against QQ/JJ. He can't even have AKcc. I just flat the turn.

As played, I fold. I don't feel great about it cuz at a nitty table QQ/JJ are much more likely just to flat OOP in the blinds than 3bet, so KK/AA really are in play here. But he has to be scared about QQ/JJ and he doesn't seem to be.

FTR I agree that 4 betting this guy is better. I'm just saying calling in general has some benefits to be considered.

we're probably not as far apart as I thought then. flatting leaves a yucky SPR and we don't have a read that he'll barrel off if we underplay, so the payoff seems really limited for the cost of allowing such a cheap shot at setmining with QQ,KK. I like something like 65 pre, 50, 100, shove. Keep tempting him with the pot odds.

I like flatting aces IP against some LAGs. Will have to think more about against true nits.
