fullring live game. 100bb effective stacks.

The game seems tight enough, no huge pots.

I have AA in MP. one limper I make it 7bb.
The button calls, thought he was going to 3bet,he didnt.
headsup oop on Flop 744r with 2 on turn.
I have no info on opponent only played a few hands.

I bet 10bb, called. On turn pot is 36bb. I bet a weak 10 to see the reaction.
He raises and I push thinking he has maybe an overpair to flop. He wins with 45o. In fact my push is a mistake here as in live they have trips here after raising 80%+ of the time. I should probably check the turn too.

My question is: Is 7-10bb the worst bet size preflop flop for AA ?
If I 3x or 4x raise it is easy to get away from scary flops. With 12bb+ you get no caller a lot but if called the SPR on the flop is low enough to get allin on scary flops.

First, what is the limit? Second, stuff happens. With no info on your Villain there is no optimum play.

You raised AA to 7 BB and got 5-high to call you. I don't see what the problem is. I love it when that happens. I pray for these calls every time. How else are we going to make money with Aces?

And why do you want to get away from this flop? What makes it scary? If this flop is scary, what flop is good for AA?

Your mistake is on the turn, not pf. One of the worst reasons to make a bet is "to see their reaction." You got to see it. It didn't do you a bit of good. You shoved over their raise where only a better hand than yours was going to call.

If you're going to bet small because you aren't sure where you stand with your hand, you're better off checking.

When in doubt, bet/fold 2/3 PSB. Bada bing bada boom.
