Hero(250ish) utg +1 with AsAd opens to 7 (my standard raise during this game).
Mp, Co and SB calls
Flop (30) - 3s4sKc
Checks to hero who bets 25. Too much? There is a straight draw and a fd, plus a K and 3 more players in the pot, so I figured something was going to stick.
MP (he's short, but I didn't notice how much) calls.
Turn (80) Tc
Hero bets 85, MP sighs and tanks a bit before folding the Kd face up.
One more straight draw and one more flush draw. Here I probably let my PLO experience get the best of me, still working in the relative hand ranking.

Yeah, give him some rope to hang himself, unless you have reads that indicate otherwise. I'd go half pot on the flop and size up to 80% on the turn.

Flop is fine. Turn go $40 - $50. You fold out everything below AK for $80 most of the time.

I certainly bet a little less on the turn, but if people overcall I don’t mind doing it.
But if he’s short I would just do two smaller bets to milk his stack out.

Flop is OK with that many opponents but $20 is probably better. The straight draws are unlikely and the king rather limits opponent's ranges for calling. The board isn't dry enough for a down bet against that many opponents but your target is various KX possibilities.
Turn is too big. You got heads up and a fairly safe turn card. Moving down to $40/$45 is better. Depending on villain's stack you may even want to check. If he is short enough that another bet commits him to the pot you might be better of going for a bet/check/bet line to extract some money.

It's not that big of a mistake. 50-60 on turn would be fine. We will have perfect size stack to shove safe rivers.
