Button raises pre about 3 times every 2 orbits. He was caught bluffing the river twice with busted straight draws. He's an action player, but not quite a maniac.

I have $1,500 behind and Button has me covered.

UTG +2 limps, CO Limps Button raises to $30. SB folds, I call with 77 UTG +2 calls and CO calls.

($125) 793 Everyone checks to Button. Button makes it $90. I raise to $300. Everyone folds to Button and he calls.

($725) 4 Hero?

With two limpers and the Button raising pre - would anyone 3 bet here with 77 oop? is set mining in this spot the better option in this specific situation? I feel like the button would call a 3 bet about 70% of the time.

Please help/let me know your thoughts, thanks!

we obv want to keep in his T8, JT, 68, J8 type draws along w/tp but much of those hands should fold if we blast

so $350 to low $400ish sounds about right

with your read about him bluffing rivers w/missed draws we can also often chk/gii otr, depending on the runout

Bet about $400 to set up the half pot river shove

3 open ended straights on that flop. 68, T8, 56 (double gutted). Only 56 got there and we obviously still have oodles of outs. I think if V had 2 pair or a set he's coming back over the top on the flop. He could also have TT+, 9x or worst case 9dXd. I'm thinking even spazzy mcspazzface is folding here with air on your flop raise.

Do you get the sense he will pivot on this hand and bet sensing weakness or slow down expecting a trap? If you think he is always going to attack a check, then by all means cr-gii.

Other way to play it is bet $300 setting up a shove on most rivers but this is probably going to fold out one pair hands and less likely to get stacks in vs 1 pair.

Your call I don't think either is much better or worse than other as long as you have a plan for rest of the hand.

I'm not a fan of slow-playing, so I just bet $300 - $400.

I might consider checking if I'm 99% sure he'll bet, but I still like betting myself.

Button has an overpair a lot here. $400 and shove all rivers

I would just call the $30 since the 2 limpers are most likely to call as well. 77 oop is always difficult to play unless you hit a set as its more likely to have 2 over cards on any given flop

I like betting 350-400 here and shoving river
