Sort of a tricky spot given the stacks. Villain is 17/16 through 250 hands and seems solid. No history between us, and he likely sees me around 14/10.

After he 3-bets me, I can either 4-bet or call. For better or worse, my 4-bet range from UTG is pretty narrow (and even if it wasn't he wouldn't know after only 250 hands together) so 4-betting kind of turns my hand face up, which is not something I'm thrilled about vs a decent player. On the other hand, calling certainly makes my hand more concealed, but playing OOP 250bb deep against a good player doesn't seem all that exciting either.

Any thoughts on an optimal line here?

We are just flatting PF to keep QQ/JJ on the hand. If you think he got AA, just fold PF oop or set mine.

i call for set and wont call it down 3streets if i miss, this deep maybe raising the flop oop for info. agaisnt 17/16 u'll be good a plenty of time if u play it good postflop-depends on a lot things. against a nit i'd call 1 street max pf-aa is just going to be most of his range.

anyone like 4 bet folding? and if he just calls check calling 2 streets?

i like 4bet folding but i cant come up with good post flop line, noone will be shooting at u 2 streets with QQ... i like setmininng/play flop more... but against someone who u know will be 3b wider this deep, then i dont mind making big 4bet but i dont see how i can play the pot if he flats me IP without giving money to his AA....

this would be effectively turning your hand into a bluff which isnt really necessary, and just compounding your tough decisions when he just flats the 4b.
