It's the min 3bet combined with the overshove that gives me pause. Sure some of the time you have the best hand, but the odds you have to call are so bad that I think it's -ev.

ok. just makin sure it's not obviously bad to fold. i folded but thought a lot about it. it's not like he ever has AA in case you're including that in his range from the above statement.

only thing tbh ultimately why i folded is he has a full-stack, and I'm either going with it or not from the flop.

im folding. i jammed over one of these the other day and got called by A9 (I had AQ). You would be sick if he called with that.

so what r u doing here with AT-Q?

lol, im calling at least once.

id say i call at least once when I'm running good, and probably grumble and fold when I'm running bad.

A lot of fish will overbet this flop, and then shut down immediately if they have nothing. I think you can call this flop and then look to check it down.

I wouldn't be suprised to see KK/QQ, that just totally spazzed out on this flop.

At the same time, folding can't really be that bad, he's giving us a horrible price to call.

ugh how can we just call once though. When doesn't villain shove turn no matter what he has? Maybe i'm just terrible but if I call I'm gonna have a really hard time folding turn. Who knows what his range is here. All I know is that if I call down and he has air I'll be relieved/kinda happy..but if I call down and he has AT i'll be tilted beyond believe and probably have to quit my session and want to die.

So yea i'd just fold flop and wait for a better spot.

yeah I don't see how we can call just once. I guess fold and "wait for a better spot"

this assumes that villain is competent and realizes that shoving the turn reps a stronger hand than just spazzing on the flop. I'm not saying folding is bad, but terribad villains really don't understand that what they're doing so we can't assume that he's going to auto shove every turn.

I honestly think call or fold neither are awful.

as to the bolded part: get serious, its nl400. if you lose a couple hundred bucks and lose your mind you probably need to work on tilt.

400$ is a lot of money... that's like a brand new very low end mountain bike. Gone forever.

Ah, the perils you face with full stacks. You should be more tilted that you called his 3bet, got basically the best flop you can hope for, and now you have to fold based on risk/reward.

I stack off here everytime for my 30bbs, and yeah, it's unbelievable the trash you'll see. If he flopped an unlikely better TP, let's not forget we have 5 outs twice to chop or win.

I think it's a clear fold pre.

Fold and make a note. I'd need a larger sample to make this call.

It's not an awful call, but I can fold here and not feel bad about it. If I blow a whole stack on some moron who has pretty clearly announced AKo here, I might tilt a bit.

If he's doing this with less than A7o consistently, I'll get him later.

Phil? Fold wait for better spot, unless you "feel" it.
