i dont see any value in betting the river. villian has represented a draw and more than likely a flush draw. i think a check call is my most likely play although i would check fold depending on the opponent

I think I fold, unless he's raise-happy, which it doesn't sound like he is.

Is that so that we can make our standard bet size smaller so we can pick up pots when we miss? His bet size is 63% of the pot, which is right in that sweet spot of 50-75%... where any lower and we invite too many calls/bluffs, and any higher we are not gaining enough extra fold equity for the extra amount.

I am serious here.

Yesterday morning my play was "bet here" but after some time of doing something I changed my game strategy. Now I think you can make more if you check the turn back.

EDIT: and I think u rarely can get 3 steets value from weaker hands, especially so deep and on the river you put self on very tough situation.

Well, I might add to that ******ed nonleveling right now. By the river, it's pretty clear Villain won't have a set or two pair ~ever. Given our blockers to TP + being UTG and restricting his Jx range prob to like JTs-AJs (4 combos total), do you think he has a calling hand often enough to counterbalance the times he has a flush?

yeah your sizing seems arbitrary. less or more would have been better, depending on what you are going for.

I would probably call since you are getting such a good price. It's pretty hard for him to have a flush, and pretty easy for him to have made hands that he is pretty certain are no longer good.

We have the nuts on the turn, so unless he literally cannot call with any hands, then there are definitely weaker hands he can call with or raise, such as lower sets.

The fact that the results on this hand seem to indicate villain had a flush here, exemplify why we need to bet the turn.
