1/2 at local casino. Had been at the table for about 2 1/2 hours and was up 116. My image was TAG, had been caught 3 barrel bluffing once and mucked at showdown but other than that only been showing down good hands. Table dynamic included a lot of limping pf.

Stacks: UTG+2 ~120, CO ~250, Hero 266

Hero on button with JK. 5 limps in front of me, i limp. SB completes, bb checks option.

[pot 16]
Flop K73, action checks around to the CO who bets 15. I flat and utg +2 flats, everyone else folds.

Reads: CO: no history with him, had been at table for about 2 orbits & was limping then calling raises a lot preflop, but post flop hadn't really been getting out of line at all. Seemed to be playing fairly abc post.

UTG+2: weak-tight old man.

[pot 61]
Turn: 8.
UTG+2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets 45. UTG+2 folds, CO raises to 90. Hero?

Thoughts? Should i have checked behind? Do I call or raise or fold? Why?

PS- I appologize if this is posted in the wrong format (I've only ever posted online HH's in these forums, first live post.), and for lack of solid reads on opponents.

raise pre, $15-25 depending on what is getting them to fold

as played just flat his raise, you have position and your draw is concealed

no, never check this behind

limping on the button is awful

Pot the flop, call the turn and river a flush

Okay, so if I flat and he shoves river i fold without improving?

Reason for limping button here was due to the number of people that had limped and me not being sure of many of their limping raises, sure a few of them had aj/aq/kq in their range for that, lots of fish at this table. Might have been a leak, i'm not gonna argue it but I generally play relatively tight in 9max games preflop seeing as i'm a lot more used to playing HU.

I understand that raising pre is prob the "best" way to play the hand. Would u say, in that exact type of situation, w/ that type of hand, K10,KQ,KJ,etc. u should ALWAYS raise? Or are there times when it may be beneficial to limp along OTB?

Nothing is always. I'd limp here if there was some lrr'er in EP. I need a damn good reason to limp though. Pop it up.

Turn is an ldo call.

I'm nearly always raising KQs or better otb to a bunch of limps, KQo and worse if there is likely to be strong limps based on past hands at the table/player images then I'm going to at least consider limping.

btw what is COs range ott? his line looks wierd to me. anyone - ideas?

Why not raise turn? Pot is going to be $240ish, CO will have like $140ish and on what river card are folding to his shove for this price?

The turn min raise seemed strange to me too, I didn't really have enough info on him to be able to accurately interpret it here. His range kind of seemed polarized towards badly played 3 of a kinds/two pairs. Any one else, ideas on v's range here?

Raise pre so you're not in situations like this. You're on the button with suited broadways and you're not raising = you're not tag.

The CO's line doesn't seem so out of the ordinary for a live fish. Ha probably thinks hes playing it well. Look for him to have all sorts of largish K, two pair 78 especially and sets of threes and sevens. K8 suited is another popular one for some reason these days. His min raise is probably just trying to be tricky with two pair or a set of threes. Edit: i think you need to remember that he probably doesn't really know why he is raising.

He could still have a very wide range here after min raising turn. As played, call and evaluate river
