Hand at Red Rock, game is 6-handed...

Hero ($580) in BB: Mid-20's reg, solid winner at 1/2, don't play 2/5 that often at RR but have played 2/5 with a couple of guys from this table before. One of the players at the table knows I'm a big winner at 1/2 since he plays about 50% 1/2 and 50% 2/5, but have not seen any of the other guys ever play 1/2. Just sat down a few minutes ago, changed seats, this is first hand I've seen a flop. Bought in for $600.

V1 ($1000) is UTG: Just sat down, this is his first hand. Israeli guy in his 20's wearing a WSOP hat, getting a player's card made and said he was from NY, started talking to another guy at the table in Hebrew, not sure if they knew each other or not. No reads since this is his first hand and he's not a reg.

V2 ($800) in MP: 40's black guy, obvious bet sizing tells, normally plays 1/2 but seen him at the 2/5 tables more often now. I think he's just a rec player that enjoys the game, probably makes a lot of $$ from his real job. Earlier had a hand where someone straddled on the button, he was in BB, 5 people limped, he raised to $85, two people called. Flop came JT2ddx, he leads $150, one guy flats, other player shoves $400, he tank folds (would have only had to call another $200ish), other player snaps the shove with 22 and holds.

Hero dealt A9

V1 limps, V2 limps, folds around to hero, hero raises to $25, both players call.

Flop ($77): JT8

Hero leads $50, V1 quickly raises to $150, hero shoves.

Standard? Anyone else take a different line here with a c/r then shove turn line, or just always leading and 3b/jamming if raised?

Its fine, I hope they fold to the 3b but it is fine.

Pre I don't raise because I don't expect folds for this sizing ever and I don't think our equity edge (which almost certainly exists but is small) outweighs our positional advantage. Pretty close spot though IMO

Flop is easy. WP.

I presume V2 folds to V1's raise?

I like it all.

I might quibble with your PFR sizing ($30-35 better), and I might go for a x/r on the flop, but w/e, you're line is at least as good as mine.

I think it's standard & since you don't have any kind of read on V's play, I'd take the line you did here.
