Min raise on the turn after you showed a lot of strength double barreling a board with An ace and king when the ace hits the turn is almost always a set. He probably doesn't raise turn with any two pair combos fearing you have KK+/AK. Therefore I just shove here with multiple flush and straight draws possible. He should never be folding a smaller set since you could easily have AK

What's most likely is that he was bluffing and he was trying to save face.
The old "I'm folding a set here because you look so strong."
When in fact he folded some bluff after trying to use the Ace to rep a better hand than you.
Either way, raise is the right move, and it's not even close.
