This is probably closer to a cbet range from the villain...
Board: Tc8c6c
Equity Win Tie
CO 50.76% 49.35% 1.41% { 8h6h }
SB 49.24% 47.84% 1.41% { 88+, T8s+, 97s+, AcKc, AcQc, KcQc, AcJc, AcTc, AdKc, AhKc, AsKc, AcKd, AcKh, AcKs, AdQc, AhQc, AsQc, AcQd, AcQh, AcQs, AdJc, AhJc, AsJc, AcJd, AcJh, AcJs, AdTc, AhTc, AsTc, AcTd, AcTh, AcTs, KdQc, KhQc, KsQc, KcQd, KcQh, KcQs }

86s is probably at the bottom of your value hands here. If your calling 86s vs this 3bet you can also have all the sets, straights and some flushes that are not nutted that make better raises.

If you raise 86s you should definitely raise sets and straights and probably vulnerable flushes here which leaves your calling range pretty weak seeing that the only strong/nut type hands in your calling range will be the nut flushes. You'll have some Ac if you dont choose to bluff raise though but i think raising 86s here is over raising on this particular flop.

Would be glad to learn this a fold pre and would agree if we were oop but as far as I know this is standard call. As we have a positional and info advantage.

Yes I see lots of folks telling me different.
I see them making statements saying I'm afraid, I haven't done the work to know what to do...lets wait til we are somewhere where I do know where I am.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I see strong posters bringing math saying this why we raise the flop. With no one posting math to the contrary.
when your at the table you don't have these hand analyzer's running and that's the way I try to approach these.
OP states V not your typical Asian and 3-bets here
yes you have position but calling $25 more to see a flop with those is not a good play.
I would raise as you did pre with them 80% of the time and don't mind that, If I felt he was trying to defend and tired of me attacking so what .
if he was 3-betting my raises constantly then its a diff matter but you didn't state that, you stated the opposite.
I always approach any hand as a flow chart if> then
so you flopped bottom 2
how often does that happen.
doing math in your head at the table and at home with the aid of a computer are 2 different worlds.
It seems the idea you reinforced in your head is its ok to call 3-bets with mid 1 gappers and this is a recipe for disaster.
as I stated its not terribly wrong to get it in on the flop, its just not what I would do, its a dangerous board to both V and us and I would peel one off here
