That's a great question. I'm very interested to hear if you'd ever raise with any hand outside that range.

Even when I'm playing TAG, there are times when I'd raise a board like that against late position openers that cbet on a board like that.

What matter most in this hand for how he should play his overpairs are both your raising range and what he perceives your raising range to be

There's a few reasons I don't like it.

1. If he doesn't fold and you have to bet the river you'll be drawing to a maximum of 8 outs. There's no card that can come on the turn that gives you more outs.

2. You might be drawing dead to runner-runner to win the pot or runner-runner to tie. Your draw isn't to the nuts. Nobody is calling with any second-best draws. It's not like you have 77 and someone could be calling with 33.

3. I don't hate the bluff but I don't understand the why. Just because it's been a few hours. Surely there have been better spots. Otherwise I think patience is best.

4. Given your (roughly) 16% percent chance of hitting your draw on the turn you're not even getting odds to draw needing to have a 27% chance of winning to call a 30 dollar bet.
