Playing 2/5 down at the Borgata over the weekend and i was running and playing well when this hand happened.

Hero: 1350 covering all (hasn't gotten out of line but playing more aggresive than normal)
Villain: 966 (Playing very tight hasn't shown down anything but J J on a J high board)

utg+1:raises to 25
utg+2: calls
MP: shoves all in for 90 (declared he would be going all in on this hand regardless.)
CO: Shoves all in for 307(Seems kind of new to the game 4 bet shoved pre w/ A Q os into kings and lost. he re bought for 250)
Hero button:K K raises to 800
Villain bb: Insta shoves. (very nitty i know instantly he has aces)

Was i too reckless with kings here? Should i just call the CO shove?

After this hand happened and I lost to his aces i kept thinking if i just called and he shoved behind me i could have folded. His stack/play was the only one left in the hand that i would have folded kings to and i knew he still had to act when i made this raise. I know he is only ever putting his stack at risk in this situation with A A and i felt like all me raising does is commit me to his shove. Of course this was after the hand.

90-plus percent of the people on this board think its ok to be all-in preflop with KK. You're right: Your play set it up that you couldn't get away from it, but with only one player left to act, it is just a cooler. You made the right play.

I guess that a call would be better for a deeper table behind me? Say remaining players left to act with 200-400 bbs deep?

OP, yes in hindsight calling is superior to raising. The reason being with is that when the CO shoves for over $300, you don't need to worry about "pricing anyone in" who is left to act when you call. Pretty much no one at this level except crazy gamblers are going to call a huge PF raise of $300 without As or Ks. And if UTG+1 or UTG+2 does flat call (their stack sizes and images are probably more relevent than the BB's) you know that you are ahead of them. And yes, by flat calling here when the BB shoves you can save yourself $650 because he always has aces given the action and the type of player he is.
In the heat of the moment I can see how raising all-in seemed like the right move. You have a monster hand that is ahead of the vast part of the two all-in player's ranges. I don't think you should ever be folding here however flat calling saves you money the one time out of 220 that the BB has aces (or UTG+1/2, depending on how deep they are)

Cooler, I think I do the same with KK.
