Hero raises $15 ($420 behind, villain has me covered), mp, 7, 7

Villain calls from button, SB folds, BB calls

Flop: 7 Q 6

BB checks, I bet $30, call call.

Turn; 8

BB checks, I bet $50, button raises to $250, BB folds.

Villain has over-bet several times. I have twice folded to his over-bets. Standard shove?

If he has overbet a few times in the past then this is probably a good time to go broke, esp if you've folded and he might think he can push you around.

He shouldn't have QQ or 88 here, so it's mostly 54s and T9s that we lose to, but we still beat 66.

Shove seems fine. Although calling is also possible in case shoving folds out his total bluffs that he might shove the river with as a last ditch attempt.

yeah standard shove. You're not folding you started the hand with 84 big blinds, you flopped second set, the pot is 435 and you have 325 left, there's really nothing to think about.

I expect to be against 66 a lot here. I’m shoving. Lots of drawing hands in V’s range.

This.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see 86, AQ or A6. Sorry if he had the 54 or the T9 - pray for the board to pair.

As stated, standard shove.

Also, please put pot sizes on all streets. Thanks.

Shoving is standard. If you call, you're OOP, <1 SPR, shoving most rivers anyway.

Villain could have 88s, 66s, but it's more likely he has some draws that turned more equity.

Jam. We are probably slightly behind villains range unless he's a maniac with like AQ and random backdoor diamond draws. I ranged him as follows: Gave him the individual 2 pair combos that seemed most likely, every 45suited and half 9Tsuited, and all sets other than QQ. I didn't give him any combos of 86 or AQ, but obviously if you add some in it begins to look even better for us.

As already posted, standard jam.

Your weak sizing OTT may have actually induced the raise. Additionally, opponent image indicates he could be semi-bluffing with hands like TT/99/FD.

Bet more OTT so u can get most, if not all, of your stack in OTR.

I bet small OTT to induce the raise. It was never a question of calling the raise. I was curious if, given the size of his raise and my small stack size after calling, if the shove here was standard.

thanks to all for the advice.

We make the immortal nuts so infrequently, this is a spot we have to ride the variance train.
