Villain 1: Bad regular, raises a lot PF to $20 from any position. I 3bet him ~5 times in the 2 hours we were playing and he called every time. He hasn't played back at me post flop yet.
Hero: I've been raising and 3 betting a lot from the CO and BU. I've been very tight from the other positions.

Note: a player accidentally turned over 84

$2/5 NL (9 handed)
MP V ($775)
HJ Hero ($1000)

Hero is dealt AK

3 folds, V bets $20, Hero raises to $60, 4 folds, V calls

Flop ($120) 985
V checks,Hero bets $70, V1 raises to $170, Hero?

I doubt you have FE to make it $360. V's range seems like pair+sd at the bottom, given c/r, so there's not much value in continuing unless there are OESD combos (if V has semibluffs in his range in this spot).

V's image is too cally as you've described for me to continue in this spot, so
I fold.

Unless you think the villain is capable of doing this with JT, easy fold. Has not played back yet, so don't get attached to those beautiful looking cards.

Fold - u don have much equity and probably no fold equity to bluff. Also if he is as sticky as you say plus y'all have some aggro history I would consider checking back this flop. It hits his calling range hard. You figure to get called or c/r'ed a lot.

given your image and dynamic with villain, I don't like c-betting this flop.

Villain is never folding any pocket pair (other than 44 and below).
Any overcards are in bad shape against our hand, so why not go for a cheap showdown?

All hands that beat us are calling on the flop, and all hands that lose to us are generally pretty far behind and will probably allow us to steal pot later, or just go to a quick showdown.

As played, fold.

I always c-bet ~1/2 Pot when I 3 bet. Maybe against a villian like this I should treat the 3 bet like a normal raise and c-bet less often.

How about the fact that I am getting 3.75-1 to continue OTF?

1. I have fifteen cards than can come OTT that give me equity.
(9s, an A or K)

2. If he's FOS, it may check down to the river or I could make a small reraise and get him to fold.

Having back door outs often just means that you are going to make another bad call on the turn.

I like how you played the hand until now. AK crushes his range so 3! pre is great for value. Flop doesn't hit him often and he has been straightforward so far so I like c betting. Pot already has 60BBs in it so there is value in making him fold hands with equity and you can barrel lots of turns.

As it was he C/R. Give up, everybody is allowed to make hands now and again.
