2/5 - check/fold turned trips

Villain has been pretty inactive. In a couple hours of play, I saw him 3bet twice and take it down pre, and only get involved in a few pots where he actually bet post.
7-handed. Villain opens to $20 UTG+1. SB calls. Hero calls with AJo in BB.
About $700 effective.
Flop:
AKQr. Checks to villain who bets $40. SB folds. Hero calls.
Turn:
AKQrAss: Hero checks. Villain bets $100. Hero folds?

If V's range is capped to AJ+, QQ+, then I guess you have to. Not sure what else double barrels this board from that position playing this tight

I'm not normally one for "fold pre" nitposts, but I do fold this pre. I think wanting to fold this postflop is good evidence for why this is not a situation you want to get into.
And yes, I'd fold the turn.

Fold pre, now we're not in this situation. It's not close either.

Funny that you posted this hand cuz I stacked a guy with AK vs his AJ in this exact spot last week. River was a deuce I shoved he snap called.
Fold pre.
