Usually hands that make good XR bluffs OTF - make bad turn bluffs.

Monker folds preflop every time and twice on Sundays.

Checking sets too? What about the nuts we just turned a lot?

I mean this card is perfect. OESD got there, Gutter+BDFD added equity, sets are sets. PUNISSHHHHHHHH UTG, checking is impossible. Pile. I don't care that he raised when he can't raise either. Imagine playing against our line from UTG - You have to fold the majority of your range or hero off your stack. Hero cannot check.

Please tell me otherwise bc I just don't see it unless we were airballing flop which we just shouldn't be doing.

I'd prefer calling the flop and check/raising the turn, preferably if his 2nd barrel is not too big and if I'm certain he can bet/fold overpairs.
Turn too small, flop too small, and I don't want any FE anyway. If he wants to call with 99+ the times I have 53s then good for him, he's gonna win 70% of the time, cool. Since I'm ckr pile shoving 99, 66, 44 close to always and 87s, 75s, 64s, 53s often, he's dead.

Why would you X/R sets on this flop vs. an unknown (i.e. not trying to balance)? Probably forcing him to let go of a bunch big ace combos. That said, I can see 44 raising ~ 1/2 the time.

No problem having lots of ckc, but It just depends on how you play your own ranges and against whom.

People don't really dbl barrel enough bluffs and our line looks extremely fishy for a set, much easier to get value that way rather than x/r turn or river which is always the stone nuts

I feel like you are not deep enough to attempt this play from the get-go with this kind of hand.

If you started with 200BB+, then you would have the option to bet for FE at some point in the hand, which is often required for a hand with no SDV.

Edit: I'm not saying fold pre, but ultimately not a fan of the x/r on the flop which bloats the pot and leaves us too little behind.
