2/5, 650 effective. H, UTG to 20 AJcc. V, HJ only caller (unknown, but young Asian male that seems competent). Flop As Kd 5c. Check, check (Checking my entire range HU OOP on this flop). Turn Qc. (H turns nut flush draw, gutter to broadway) H 25, V 100, H? Is it good or spew to 3bet jam here and turn our hand into a bluff?

My thinking is, we might have too much showdown value to turn this into a bluff, but... I feel like we have a range advantage on this board. Hard to give V AA, KK, QQ, AK, while we have all those hands in our range. We block JT. Worst case scenario if called, we're drawing to clubs or a T to the nuts.

I think this is a pure call. Maybe you could rip at some frequency but we just have so much equity, I prefer to just realize it on the river here. These raises from villains after we check flop aren’t super nutted, but his calling range will be. Obviously we have equity against a nutted range but it seems spewy to get it in here. Are we jamming with sets? With JT? Just seems like a suspect line that’s gonna get a decent chunk of folds from worse hands and get us stacked 75% of the time vs better hands. What are we leaning on anyway? AK or AQ that he’s unlikely to have bc of lack of 3bet? Just seems really inefficient to me.

Are you really range checking this flop? You have AK/KK+ and V can have none of those hands. Seems closer to a range bet than a range check.

Anyway, raising doesn’t make sense IMO. Your hand is too strong to turn into a bluff. Plus I don’t think V will give you credit for many strong hands after you check flop. clear call turn imo

He has to be pretty strong here. You raised from UTG and bet this turn, but he's still raising you? I'd call and hope to bink. I don't think you have any fold equity -- do you?

Plus, if you are ahead, you will just blow him off his hand.

Also, I probably bet the flop.

I don't understand the flop check. This board smashes our range.

I think against a younger aggressive V call turn and go from there. The only hands that you might want to target with a bluff here are AK/AQ, and those seem unlikely given preflop action, plus there's no guarantee those fold to a shove either.

Add me to the range bet OTF camp. Checking makes no sense and only makes later streets more confusing. Justifications aside this is live poker. Bet your hand!

Why on earth are you checking range on this flop? That’s just bad.

I lean towards betting larger if we want to bet turn. No idea why you’d want to 3-bet jam turn. Doesn’t really accomplish anything.
