Hero just sat at table. I should have a pretty TAG image.

I recognize villain from LA, but pretty sure he doesn't recognize me. Pretty sure he's a live pro, plays somewhere between nit and TAG.

1 limp in EP, hero picks up AsKx in HJ+1 hero opens to $22, villain calls in SB, limper folds.

Flop ($45)

Ks 9c 9s

Villain checks, hero checks.

Turn ($45)

10d

Villain bets $25, hero calls.

River ($95)

Villain checks, hero bets $70, villain calls.

Questions:

With the TPTK + NFD blocker, is this a good board to slow play heads up?

Am I even going to get 3 streets of value from KJ/KQ if the board runs out dry vs this type of villain?

Is a check on the flop more likely to induce a turn/river call from a PP if the board runs out fairly dry?

I think a c-bet flop, check turn line is more likely to induce a thin river call. I would bet flop mainly because he would expect you to c-bet with most of your range and is likely to float and possibly raise with a lot of his range. Against a nitty player you probably aren't extracting tons of value regardless on this board.

we can get 3 streets of value here...

Grunching ...

Not necesarily, but good for balancing imo.

No, because the opponent is skilled.

Yes, in LLSNL TP hands are almost always bet OTF, especially with draws present.
