Vallain is a regular. What do you guys make of this turn big bet? I have a note on him that he floats on 3 way pot on the flop with 8 high and then raise all in on the blank turn with a gutshot.

i dont like leading this flop. given you lead, why didnt you crai on turn. if villain is beating you he has 55 only imo. cant see AQ flatting button there unless utg raiser is a real nitbox.

he might think you wouldn't donk a good Q on flop, and then you played turn so passively i think you should be ahead of a bunch of QJ, 88-66, maybe a really badly played AA / KK. AQ / QT would really suck.

Does PP have deep tables or something? Everyone there is 200 BBs deep.

1. Fold pre.
2. This deep I probably c/c flop because I'm not stacking 200 BBs with trips and 2nd kick.
3. You should probably fold turn, but I rarely do.
4. Now that we're at the river, I don't think we are ahead here very often. We get shown 55 a lot more often than we scoop some donkey with 66 or AcJc.

I'm kind of a nit with trips, but I would c/c 3 streets (and my af is over 6). You get paid by people overplaying pps and bluffs, and you don't get your stack in when you're against better kicker/full house. As played, it really looks like he's putting you on trips and is looking to get paid.

Fold pre unless someone in the hand is a fish.

for several reasons:
- KQo multiway is BS
- u r oop
- playing KQo against a bunch of good players isnt worth anything, especially oop

Also because we're not sure what to do with the best possible hand we can hope for on the river against a guy we have notes on as a huge semi bluffer.

i don't mind calling pre this deep, but this is the pretty much the better types of flops i'm hoping for so i'm not looking to pot control.
i like a check on the flop as others have said.

i don't play online 1000nl, but sometimes i see small raises on the flop like this to test if you are drawing. his raise was offering you 130/420, enough for you to call with a flush draw assuming some implied odds. perhaps he expected you to 3bet flop to tell him he was behind. your call might look like a draw to him. if he flopped a boat, i don't see him potting it to price out the draws in your range. i really think you're only behind AQ here. i call
