Hi all ,

1/3 at Aria

V1 playing pretty tight overall. Nothing too crazy. Business man. Hasn’t gotten too out of line. Played with h him a few hours.

H: tight player. I have the table covered and V has about 350 to start

OTTH 4 people limp I’m in the SB with 6d and 6c V is UTG.

(18) Flop is Qh 6h 4h

I lead for 10 and V1 calls others fold.

(38) Turn is a 3c i net 20 and he calls

(78) River is a 7c

I bet 35

Thoughts?

Too thin?

Looks fine. Bet bigger on the turn though.

Not too thin, imo. I'd go higher on flop/turn.

Too thin?

Seems fine imo. Maybe a lil bigger on turn, which would mean a bigger river bet

I'm fine with preflop.

I might size up slightly on flop and turn but whatever.

I think overall I might lean to a check/call on the river. One of the benefits of check/calling is that we get to showdown our hand (unlike betting and facing a gross decision if being raised). Another benefit is that almost all players (even passive ones) on a flush draw will use the 4-to-a-straight opportunity to bluff. Also, it's going to be pretty hard to be paid off by a tight guy with the weak end of his range on this runout (unless he levels himself into thinking a tight guy is 4barrelling a busted nut flush draw).

ETA: Unlike others, another downside to betting river is that it is pretty thin overall, no? We donked into the world on the flop and tighty him just called with the world to act behind him, plus he's called us down the whole way. Not too convinced he's going to call a lot of the time with AhQx, otherwise he's busted or is simply calling down with better (not sure if he's good nor wanting to scare us away). And vs QQ/44 (both plausible) it's a wash.
