I check back the turn. Would then bet river for value. Probably folding river as played.

I could get behind checking back the turn, or betting the turn.
But once we are raised on the turn this should be a pretty much snap fold.

Fold river as played.

As played I call river. He can have hearts and other bluffs here, especially with his comment.

If we bet the turn I think it has to be a bet/fold

Meh against an aggrotard there's nothing wrong with checking behind to induce him to do stupid stuff. As played I fold turn.

Check back turn. This guy is too unpredictable to bet for thin value. We should only be bet/folding against opponents that we can be confident will only raise when they have us crushed.

Given this guys playing style, we have to check back turn for pot control. We can make $$ by picking off his bluffs on the river.

I like a c bet OTF
Once you check flop, I think you open yourself up to be outplayed. So if I check flop, check turn.
I don't understand his 'please be high hand' comment bc this isn't a jackpot hand. He's the kind of player who could over value any T here but I still don't love calling the check raise or the river. We lose to straights, any A, any K, all two pair. This isn't the spot to hero call.

Flop vbet is definitely the standard here, but it's too thin against a drunk asian dealer who is liable to raise us off our hand a lot. In other words: nice check.

Turn is the worst card in the deck. I vbet pretty much everything but this. Just check back and feel lucky if you get even just one street of value in this hand.

As played, don't call the turn raise unless you have an idea what you're going to do when he bets the river. This guys is drunk ... a dealer ... AND asian. LAggromaniacs who fit all the stereotypes so neatly only exist in hypothetical situations. He WILL be forcing you to a decision on the river and it WILL be with an inscrutable range. Do NOT odds-call the turn. And since your hand isn't very good, you might as well just fold.

OTR: I don't know, sure, call I guess? The card doesn't suck, his sizing doesn't suck and I read absolutely nothing into the words that are coming out of his mouth. If there were a reason why we thought it was a good idea to call the turn, then we can just invoke that reason again here because this was pretty close to the best-case scenario for rivers. But I think this street's irrelevant.

Back to preflop hand-reading. Could Villain have 99-66 here? Or is he never limping them in MP? If he is almost always raising 66+ in MP, then value betting turn for thin value may be too thin because we are only getting called by draws/occasional 5x. We also need to consider discounting the FDs heavily if he is the type who would often barrel turn with FD after Hero checked back flop.

Call him down. If he is putting it in w T7 he is capable of showing up w enough garbage.
