Hero ($300): Reggish image, just sat down at table

Hero raises to $18 with TT in MP over a limper, 5 callers

Flop ($90ish): AA9r
Check, Hero ???

Should we cbet 1/2 pot multi-way here ever because we were the aggressor? Or is this a check/give up spot?

This is a check/fold situation. With 5 callers it's hard to believe that nobody has an ace, and aces are not giving up. Even if hero was on button and checked around to hero, I'm not betting this flop because too many villains will check/call the whole way to the river with middle and low aces.

Ha, not a good preflop result but I'm guessing totally unexpected.

I would probably cbet like a lol small $25 as it looks valuey as hell; if no one has an A, I think we're getting it thru. With two aces out, it's also possible that we actually do have the best hand, and we obviously don't want to give the world a chance to catch up.

Well, it checked through, turn was a 9, one guy bet $5 (lol), another calls, I call.

Blank river, he flips over a 9 for bottom FH.

FML.

I'm in favor of betting small on the flop, mainly to get thin value from 9x. If called, I would probably automatically check turn since 9x is probably not calling 3 streets in this situation and most likely fold to a river bet by any of the callers.
