1/3 - super coolered with J10, spoiler alert. Just venting... 1/3 - super coolered with J10, spoiler alert. Just venting...

1/3NL - 8 handed, I am in seat 8 with J-10off

V1 (SB) $275 - Loose Passive
V2 (UTG+1) $900 - Loose Aggressive
Hero (MP1) $325 - Tight Passive
V3 (BTN) $150 - Loose Passive

Pre-flop:
V2 raises to $20 - I call, V3 & V1 call

Flop:
8s8c7s

V1 checks, V2 bets $20, I call, V3 & V1 call

Turn:
Ad

V1 bets $25, V2 calls, Hero thinks for a minute about folding but what the hell, I'm getting great pot odds (i think) and i feel that 8% chance that a 9 is coming on the river is in my favor on this one. I call, V3 calls.

River:
9c

V1 bets $25, V2 raises to $225

Hero tanks. Mr. aggro who's been anouncing that he's been chasing flushes and straights all night, who announces every hand that he had a "great draw." I thought at best he may have the 8, worst case scenario I'm getting coolered with his A8. Maybe we was bluffing his missed flush.

(Spolier alert)

I shove, and before I can push my chips in he's drooling snot from his nose and mouth basically having a heart attack. V3 & V1 fold, V2 calls and turns over AA for Aces full.

V3 immediately says "damn man, did you even raise pre flop? You slow played the **** out of that one." His response "yes I raised to $20 but damn i was just waiting for someone to shove yesssss!"

*I'm thinking for someone that 3bets preflop to $65 with K10off in a 1/2 game then played Aces full like this, the type that has to raise to $25 or $30 with 78off on a gutshot straight draw or chases every draw to the river and catches but then plays Aces full like this - this is the exact type of player that puts me on tilt and makes me want to crack his ****ing jaw right in half.

You know the types of pu**ies that play poker - they have no girlfriend, they have no real testosterone. The type of person that can't look you in the eye when he talks to you but when he plays poker he lets his chips and brains do the talking for him, and if he beats you he won't make eye contact with you for the rest of the game? That is the profile of V2.

It took a lot for me to politely stack my remaining chips neatly and push them toward him and say "nice hand.." but im thinking to myself, could I have gotten away from that hand? I almost folded on the turn thinking it was nearly impossible to hit a 9 on the river. I felt suckered, I felt like I was taken advantage of then laughed at for it.

Sure, plenty will say "yeah you should have folded pre" - please spare me.

Obviously I knew the whole time, a flush on the river or a full house will beat me. Well no one was playing like they had the boat and obviously no one caught the flush.

Was this just one of those hands I couldnt get away from because of the math? Was the math wrong? Should i have folded on the turn?
I feel my read was difficult but correct, considering how hard it is to read someone that plays any two cards and bets completely recklessly in every hand.

Thanks for letting me vent... heh.
