In the SB with 99, folded around to me. I limped (which in retrospect was awful), villain checks. Villain has about 400 behind, I had 300. No reads, as it's early.

Flop- 5d 6c 8c, pot is $6
Hero bets $5, villain raised to $15, hero calls.

Turn- Js, pot is $36
Hero bets $25, villain raises to $75, hero ?

I'm not sure what I'm up against here- he's showing a lot of strength on both streets with a drawy board.

Did you have the 9 of clubs? Because without the nine of clubs, I would easily fold after the flop raise. In the scenario that you gave, you should definitely fold the turn regardless of whether you have the nine of clubs or not.

Agree you should fold turn, and fold flop without 9c.

Also, I would check to the BB on the turn given he has the strong range after raising, and your hand is nothing more than a bluff catcher.

pre is omg!?@$#%#bad in my opinion but you mention it so i will leave it at that.

I play flop the same and I don't lead the turn. I fold the turn as played in a heartbeat.

don't go broke in limped pots.
