Hi all,

Looking for some feedback on an interesting hand.

Game: 1/3
V1: 30's white guy has ~300 but is on his third rebuy. Has been playing extremely aggro (probably a little bit tilted) has been caught bluffing numerous times.

V2: Old lady just came to the table. Looks uncomfortable and playing at the same table as her husband has ~200 won a set over set pot like her third hand.

Hero: early 20's playing tight but aggressive. Hasn't been caught bluffing has~280

OTTH: V1 raises to 12 UTG, V2 calls, folds to hero who has AQ in the HJ and makes the call. All others fold.

Flop: (40) Ad 3c 2c V1 bets 20, V2 calls 20, and hero calls 20

Turn: (100) Qc V1 bets 75, V2 takes awhile and tank calls, Hero calls 75 ( Personally it was a tough decision for me have two pair. Beating a lot of Ax combos, losing to sets, some flush combos, 45,) thought about folding especially since V2 called but I made the call.

River: (325) Kd V1 goes all in, V2 tank calls, Hero should?

Final pot size: ~600 when the action is on me with V1 all in, and V2 all in I have roughly 168 left

Raise flop.

If you call turn, you have to call river; otherwise should have folded at turn IMO

First off we can make a case for 3bet preflop. Second, you should definitely be 3bet on flop. That was a mistake. V1 bets half pot into super wet board. Not worried about V2 on flop at least. Her range is likey Ax to flush draw. V2 range of super wide.

Turn is interesting, but I think we can make a case to fold right here. V1 had been aggroy, but even the worst of players would have to reason it's relatively likey one of you has flush. But even if V1 just getting crazy here, we have to be worried V2 had min of set. She's described as a nit. Best case scenario she has AK with A of clubs (I'm assuming you don't since you didn't say?) and V1 is just spewing. But that's best case. Rivers easy fold. You beat nothing.

3! pre against a loose-aggro villain. Do you have the Ac? I'd rather shove the turn than fold. I'd expect a quicker call from old lady if she had a flush. She still has plenty of worse Ax in her range.

AQo is a pretty inbetween hand where you could argue for all 3 plays (fold, call, raise) depending on the situation. Against an aggro opener (even one from EP) with some other dead money in the pot and <= 100bb stacks in position, I think I'd lean towards a 3bet preflop. This'll setup a trivial stack off SPR postflop if we hit a pair. If we take down the pot preflop, whatever, not a bad result. The only real tricky thing is if the aggro guy 4bets us (where we'll probably have to fold). I probably go ~$50 and go from there.

As played, we've created a higher SPR of ~7 which we probably shouldn't be as comfortable stacking off to postflop. The board is slightly drawy, but I think I'd rather just use my position to evaluate turn cards / action before dumping in huge money. I'm cool with the call, but there are certainly arguments for a raise.

It's a little worrisome that the raiser has continued with a big bet on the turn, but he is aggro. Board is fairly drawy so it's unlikely woman is slowplaying a bigger hand. At this point, I'm feeling pretty committed with my top two pair. Pot is currently $250 and we only have about that left behind. I ship it now. If we call we'll only have $175 left in a $325 pot and I don't think we can fold and yet there'll be a bunch of ugly rivers.

This ain't the ugliest river but AK did just get there. Gross spot.

ETA: Whoops, I totally missed that the flush came in on the turn. I probably fold the turn. One of the reasons to flat the flop was to keep the pot as small as possible in order to see the turn card / action in position and evaluate, and this card / action ain't great.
