You add balance to your checking range by checking TT, JJ, and QJ imo.
How is it polar opposite?

I prefer checking AA, because I am not worried about overcards that desperately want free card. We block a huge portion of Ax when we hold AA. So his range changes dramatically compared to times we hold 10''s or Jacks.

Rather check AQ than 10's. (Not advocating checking AQ).

Well then maybe the best thing is to sometimes bet and sometimes check TT, JJ etc. AA I am never checking on this texture. Agree to disagree. We're arguing in circles

I don't think it is going in circles. I would like to here from Chris and you. Why you feel 10''s, JJ and QJ make better check.

I am still open minded here. But at this point besides stating you would check those hands. You haven't laid out a reason for it.

QJ is really baffling to me. Really struggling to find reason to check that combo of Queen

Chris and Johnny are completely on point in this thread, per their usual. The people saying check back flop still haven't articulated any coherent reasoning why. The best they've come up with is "we can't get three streets of value here" which (1) is utter nonsense and (2) even if true would mean we should be triple barreling bluffs like crazy.

The corollary to (2) is: (3) if we can bluff like crazy then we also need to value bet triple barrel with the top of our range, which we have here.
Missed this post before. Since it I have stated a few reasons.

Willing to try to answer any question.

Johnny betting 1/3 pot I stated I like. Is main line I would use for majority of my range.

I am never worried about getting 3 streets of value. I am Lag and get paid off extremely light.

I don't really see any posts suggesting we lose much besides giving up free cards in fear of 2 outer. (Which is rather asinine).
