How about ranging 3 barrels from passive bad opponents though?

Wat? x/c is atrocious. What advantage would that have over b/f?

I'm guessing hero bet river and got called by a better 3.

This is not that different a spot to flopping A83 with A2 6 ways and trying to go three streets with it. I get the differences: aces are more popular cards than 3s, people are more likely to overvalue an 8 on an 833 flop than a 9 on an A93 flop, there's one less 3 out there for people to have. Those differences mean that we can go for two streets of value where we'd be cautious even getting one with A2. By the third street I'm getting less keen on my hand though.

B/f is best, but for more than in op. If I chk, it's a x/c, but barely I suppose, and if he blasts it, it's gross. I play against too many button clickers to underrep and fold.

Upon further thought, My previous comment was too harsh.

No one is going to flame anyone for letting a 2-outer catch up in a nothing limped pot. We're not betting to protect a lol $20 pot against a 2outer.

x/f river is probably right as played imo. and i check flop to let someone hit a J or whatever turn top pair. fold to any raise at any point with this hand. if someone hits a boat on turn with 55 you can safely just fold when he raises you.

I know that. There are no front door draws OTF is what I was trying to say.

Yeah typically I prefer to bet when flopping stuff like this, but the flop is so dry here that checking is somewhat better.
