V ($450, SB): Loose/passive fish. Playing slightly conservative tonight. Doesn't really seem capable of bluffing, etc. but calls bets light. Not sure if he slowplays stuff but I've seen him do it once tonight.

Hero ($1000, BB): Tight, winning image.

2 limps, V completes, Hero checks with Q6o

Flop ($12): 6d 3c 2d
V checks, Hero bets $12, f, f, V calls

Turn ($36): Qc
V checks, Hero bets $20, V raises to $75, Hero ???

Whenever a passive player who "doesn't really seem capable of bluffing" puts in a good sized raise, alarm bells go off. This is a limped pot. Likely, he's either got a straight or a set. Aces up would be the only other likely hand I would consider.

Maybe he's the kind of guy who thinks AQ is a super awesome hand worth raising on the turn. I don't usually put flush draws in the range of Vs like this with a turn raise.

Board: 2d 3d 6c Qc
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 40.729% 40.73% 00.00% 3855636 0.00 { Qs6h }
Hand 1: 59.271% 59.28% 00.00% 5611077 0.00 { 66, 33-22, AQs, A6s, A3s-A2s, 54s, AQo, 54o }

If you think he's capable of playing AA or KK this way, that could change the decision making.

Not sure if this could be a weirdly played overpair, but I think he could even have turned a worse 2 pair OTT.

Preflop looks obvious.

I don't think there is any reason to bet so much on the flop. We have a very small TP with a fairly meh kicker, it's not exactly a monster. We're never folding out better. So we're not exactly looking to build a huge pot here, especially OOP. I would bet 1/2 PSB and go from there.

I'm cool with the turn bet. We've moved ahead of some hands and there are still draws, I think we could actually bet larger here. I fold to the raise. This Villain ain't getting out of line or semi-bluffing, he's just betting his hand for value on a drawy board. He'd have to be extremely loose preflop in order to have very many worse two pairs (the only "reasonable" one I see is 32), and even these hands might not be pumped about going to war against us.

Smells like a scared set on a drawy board, played fine. Probably fold now.
