I wasn't in this hand just thought it was interesting.

Let's assume we are LJ here, what in our range do we call with.


Bb is a decent agro player.

Pre: folds to us we make it $8, only bb calls

Flop: $17 - 347
Bb checks, we bet $12, bb calls

Turn: Q
X, x

River: $31 6
BB bets $20, LJ raises to $65, bb shoves for $190 total we cover.

Without knowing something more about the players this is an awfully abstract question.

That said, assuming two players that don't have much history with each other then 5X hands are probably the only calls. Board is wet enough HJ shouldn't be checking any strong value hands on turn. With 4 to a straight on the board weaker made hands shouldn't be raising river. So the river raise is 5X hands and bluffs.

With better history between villains LJ can possibly make some weaker bluff catching calls but it's very situational.

So this was in the first hour. I haven't seen lj before in this home game but can't say he doesn't have history with bb.

LJ says "I'm not sure" and shows A7cc
Bb says "are you f@#$ing joking" and tables KJhh

I have no clue how a $30 pot on the river got stacks in with those hands.
