Villain has been folding around 75-80 percent of his starting hands after 20 minutes of play. Also, most pots have been raised PF. Usually pots were raised to 10 or 12 PF, but a few were also raised to 6 PF. I haven't seen much aggression from him.
Hero is a limit player that is new to NL. Hero has $44 (I bought in short because I'm new to the game, and there's no way I'm a good player yet. I probably have a million leaks, this was my first time playing 1-2 NL, and I'm not yet familiar with how other people play at this level). Everyone has hero covered.
Hero has Q

Preflop: 2 people limp in, hero raises to $12 on the btn, villain directly on my left calls in the sb, the 2 limpers call
Flop is A

Pot is $48 dollars
Villain checks, the limpers check, hero checks
Turn is 9
Everyone checks again
River is 2
villain bets $10, the limpers fold, hero is last to act and calls
On the flop I have a short stack, but I hated seeing that ace against 3 limpers so I decided to check. If I pushed all-in I didn't see anyone calling unless they had an ace, which I thought was likely to be the case. I wasn't sure what to do on the later rounds. I never felt good about my hand and I thought checking might induce a bluff (but then again I might have folded to a bluff), and it gave me a chance to see what everyone else did and reevaluate. But then again, I'm also wondering if I played too weak after everyone else kept checking. Against 2 players I would have pushed all-in on the flop.
