$5 straddle on and there are two limos for $5 from SB and UTG.
AQoff in MP and I raise to $30. Player to my left goes all in for $25. Button, SB and UTG call $30.
$145 to the flop
1096 rainbow. Suits won’t play a role in this hand.
I assume my mistake was cbetting into a multi-way pot but one was allin. I make it $50. Button folds, SB goes allin for $160. UTG folds. Is this always a check?
$355 in the pot and $110 for me to call. Are you calling or folding here and how often?

Yeah I think cbetting here is a pretty big mistake. It sucks that the pot is so big and you whiffed, but you just have to check and fold here.
It isn't even really about the fact that there is essentially a dry side pot here - I don't think this is a good cbet spot 5 ways no matter what. This board hits your opponent's ranges pretty hard, and you could easily be drawing dead here.
With the short stack All-in, it makes no sense to bluff here, as you will always have to beat the All-in player. As such, think I would fold to the jam as played. I could be convinced otherwise on that though.

The 3 calls ranges are super wide since everyone likes to call pre to knock out the short stack. I'd like an x/r over a cbet but 5 way (4 really) I probably just give up.

Noob perspective:
Yeah, that board smashes their button-flatting, blind-defending, and limp-calling range and it feels like lighting money on fire to c-bet into 3 guys and a fairly arid side pot.
It's almost guaranteed that somebody has at least a pair and/or straight draw and would stick around on this flop. What was your plan for later streets if you didn't hit one of your overcards or pick up straight draw equity? This is a check/evaluate and probably a check/fold for me.
As played, you might be drawing close to dead if SB is shoving with a set, 2-pair, or flopped straight. Even if they only have 1 pair, you have maybe 6 outs. I can't see this being a profitable call, though honestly I hate calling here less than I do the initial c-bet.

Yeah I knew it was a mistake as soon as I bet the flop. So I just shut down when he went allin. I wasn’t sure as played if I call there due to odds or anything. It was a reaction to just cbet based on the table being so passive. Got through everyone but him so almost worked. But I know long term it is a losing bet. Will make sure to not make that mistake again. I assume heads up and maybe 3 way it might be an ok cbet. Live and learn and get better.
