Question: if he bets the river rather than check/raises how much would you call?
I'd call anything but a > pot sized bet. Every time villain has done that he's shown the stone cold nuts.

So with 550:

Flop (Pot 31, Eff 540): Bet 30
Turn (Pot 91, Eff 510): Bet 90. This leaves 420 behind and pot will be 271.
River (Pot 271, Eff 420): Not really worried about T8 so much, but nut flush would be bad. I think you miss too much value here by not betting. If he raises all-in, I puke and fold. The thing is with a hand that wants to bluff, he should be donking river unless he's sure you'll fire. By check-raising instead of betting, it has to be for value, since your betting range is > than your checking behind range. [if he wanted to bluff, he should do so by donking against your wide range, rather than checking and raising against your strong range]

I think checking behind river is giving up EV, but it's low variance, and I understand it, but I kind of hate it.
