Bet river for 1/2 - 2/3 pot depending on pot size, stack size and number of callers.

You´re over 100 to one to flop a flush, and if you want someone else to have a flush too, the odds get even worse. Naked flushdraws and top pair meh kicker are not easy hands to play well from EP in a multiway pot with 69 big blinds. Factor in you will often get raised out of the pot preflop, and you should come to the logical conclusion that those $2 from your preflop call could be better spent on something else.

Also from your perspective the others are all simply playing 70bb.

Agreed; Other than this getting posted for a "OMGIBBQDU" moment, it was a horrible play. You jammed 69BBs into a 5BB pot with the stone cold nuts w/redraw and expect others to praise the play. No, your flop shove was idiotic.

Other than that, I don't know if you were first to act post flop, last to act post flop, or middle position. All I can assume is that you either acted first and shoved or it was checked around to you and you shoved. Either way, this play loses value 99% of the time. If first to act, I would advocate either a c/c plan or an open for 3-4 bbs to build a pot and hope everyone comes along. If played back against, call a reraise and build a pot.

I'm not posting to have this play praised, it was stupid and I got lucky. I posted it to the see what you all think the proper play was, not to tell me how stupid it was... that I am fully aware of lol.

BTW, this was the last hand I was playing before I had to go meet my family downstairs in the casino, that is the reason I shoved. I would not have done that in a normal game that I planned on staying at. I took a big, albeit stupid, gamble and it paid off. With that sort of hand it was obviously stupid to force people out when I had the nuts dealt to me.

Correct play is to fold raggy aces from early position more often than not. If you want to enter the pot, open for a raise.

On this flop when we flop the nuts with a straight flush redraw we want to build a pot, shoving that much is not going to get any action aside from maybe the Q or K high flush or maybe a set, people are going to fold a ton of stuff you beat which is bad.

Bet 2/3 the pot, shove if someone raises.

With the pot only 10$, I bet like 15. 1/2 players tnink in terms of absolute bet size, not relative to the pot. 8s will prob even raise you.
