Ok so I have QJdd in BB with 400 behind
UTG raises to 6. Two people call and the villain is a nit in late position, I have played with a him decent amount in the past, he has 200 behind

I call to close the action.
Flop comes Kh9h5d

Checks to the nit in late position he bets 25 into 25.
Folds to me, I call with a gutter and a backdoor.

The nit here, imo, almost never has a flush draw, he just doesn’t bet flush draws in multiway pots. His range is pretty much top pair plus.

So I am planning on leading and sizing up every turn with a heart.
The turn comes Qs, so I check and he bets 50 into 75.

So I fold, and I probably should have folded on the flop. I am curious, if I float turn does anyone think it is profitable to lead bricks on the river?

It is an extremely strong line, check call check call lead.
However, he can easily have every two pair with a king at this point and he can have a lot of sets.

Floating nits are generally not going to work out because they only play strong hands.

You mostly answered your own question. Anyways, just try and win it pre. You don't close the action post either, so that's another problem.

More than that, this is not a good texture to float nit on, his range is strong
