Prehand Descriptions
Villain 1: 50-60 years old, nice mild mannered guy. Pretty Bad, I mean maybe I’m wrong but he folded the SB to the BB (So he wasn’t aware of the concept of chopping). My read was that he played some online most of the time and was trying live for the first time, I thought, Maybe a zynga player??? Loose Passive, although he tightened up after losing a couple of pots (showed 2nd or 3rd pair and lost to 2 pair after paying small bets 3 streets).
Villain 2: 50ish Gentleman, quite polite, definitely a reg, every dealer and floor person seems to know him, waiting for a 2-5 spot in a new table (he didn’t want to take a spot in the one 2-5 table going at the time. Tight. Hasn’t played a lot of pots. Hasn’t shown down any cards. Lost one or to pots after folding
Hero: Quiet, playing about a 25/15. Mostly raising PF with some overlimps. Has taken down 2 hands preflop after raising to $7 and to $10. Has taken down another pot after CBetting.

All of us have been at the table for about one hour, Hero has played more pots than Villains and has not shown down any hands. Hero and 2 more players seem a bit more aggressive than the rest and the table is very tight in general with more preflop ending raises than usual.

$1/2 NL (10 handed)
UTG Fold
UTG+1 Fold
UTG+2 V1 (~$100)
MP Fold
MP +1 Fold
MP+2 Fold
CO Hero ($200)
Button Fold
SB V2 ($82)
BB Fold

Hero is dealt KQ

2 folds, V1 limps $2, 3 Folds Hero Raises to $7, Fold, V2 Calls $6, 1 Fold, V1 calls $5 more

I decided to Raise for Value/Isolate V1 (proably should have raised more but like I sadi table was folding to these size raises PF. Call from V2, even though somewhat short, not surprising as he had called before with his short stack and folded on the flop.

Flop ($23) J6K

V1 checks, V2 checks Hero Bets $25

Obviously a great flop for Hero, decided to bet a bit stronger than usual to rep NO flush draw and get worst pairs, Flush/Straight draws to call, 2 pairs to raise or call.

Question 1: What is the right size bet on this board against these types of players? Would you advocate check/calling or check/raising here?

V1 Folds, V2 calls

Turn ($73) J

V2 Bets $49 ALL IN Hero???

Please comment if it’s a call or a fold but also if you would call less (like $30) and if you would call more (like $150). IMO odds vs. outs play a big role here.

i'd raise a little larger pre, something to like $11ish
the flops a dream, bet smaller (slightly a little over half pot or a little under half pot_. It really depends. Bet sizing is so crucial. You've hit the flop so hard, why cancel out all the action (especially from a short stacked aggressive 2/5 player killing time) by over-betting. I'd bet when checked too as well, but like $14ish (if I were playing it the way you did).

As played I'm calling vs this type of player.

Raise more PF, 7 is not enough for math reasons

You are in position you can't check/call the flop

I call the turn and expect to see a jack a good % of the time, but I have redraw outs
