I'm brand new to solvers and curious if anyone here is familiar with PioSolver. I purchased this software a few months ago and am having a very difficult time finding any tutorials geared towards LIMIT holdem

For example:

I give cutoff an opening range and the sb a 3betting range. Flop comes J74r (or whatever flop). Because I haven't figured out how to use the preflop building tree, I must select for OOP to bet. If it's correct for sb to check any portion of their range, I wouldn't know it based on Pio because if I don't force OOP to bet then it checks everything

sb bets, cutoff calls. Turn is 2r. Sb bet, cutoff raises and Pio shows what parts of my range I should fold, call, or re-raise. However..

Obviously, cutoff doesn't still have their entire starting range. Depending on flop texture, they fold some % of their opening range. Even if they peel 100% of the time, once they raise turn, their range doesn't include many of the hands that were included preflop

So I'm not sure if I'm using the solver correctly if I don't adjust ranges street by street.

I'd also like to work on preflop opening and 3 betting scenarios, but I keep getting "incorrect raise size" when using the preflop building tree. I'm not going to say this software has been worthless to me, but garbage in/garbage out. I can't trust that I know what I'm doing enough to put much weight into the solutions I'm getting out of it

Just curious if anyone here knows how to use this solver or can direct me to tutorials (seems like I've searched the entire internet and it's all no limit). Or I'm curious if there are preflop solutions already available for purchase. Would appreciate any help or guidance

Thanks

I'm not sure the best way to learn about a solver. Hoping the previous post was meant in good humor, but deleted it, anyway.

You could probably get someone who knows pio to coach on it. Certainly DonJuan and folks like that have 1000's of hours of solver work. Used correctly, it is rumored to be powerful. Might take a bit to figure it out.

Death Donkey is an expert on it. I’ve futzed around without but don’t find it intuitive
