Foxwoods 10/20

Villian is a young (maybe mid to late 20s) woman who is pretty fishy (vpip 55-65%). In one previous hand, she attempted to raise a scare card on the turn against someone when she had absolutely nothing. Other than this one hand, however, she tended to be a tight raiser in the 2-3 hours I had been playing with her.

Folds to hero on the BTN who raises Q T, SB folds, Villian calls in the BB.

Flop: Q J 4

Villian donks, hero raises, villian calls.

Turn: K

Villian checks, hero bets, villian raises, hero calls.

What is the river plan?

Maybe it's my on-line bias here; but, I check this turn behind.

As played, you likely need to call a non-threathening, UIed river.

I check behind the turn.

The possible draws she is c/r on the flop just got there. The bdf becoming possible is not a worry.

If she has a Q we beat she is drawing very thin, if she has an Ax type hand, we will pwn on the river.

As played, her line is a 'monster' in live play. I call the c/r and fold UI.

When she just called my preflop raise, donked out on the QJ4 r flop, and then just called my flop raise, this is how I evaluated her range:

1) OESD's (T9, KT)
2) Pairs of queens, jacks, fours (we beat all of these except KQ or AQ and she was definitely more likely to raise these pf)
3) Random A hi's (stone cold bluffy type hands)
4) Maybe some weak type of draws (T8, 89, K9, AT)
5) possibly two pair hands waiting to raise the turn (QJ, J4, Q4)

I thought we may beat enough of her range to want to charge her on the turn, but I could be off-base with my assessment of her range.

I think I'd call on the river because she has shown that she will bluff when a scare card comes on the turn, and that's exactly what happened in this hand (a scare card came on the turn). That combined with the possibility that you are still ahead should give you good enough odds to call one more bet.
