Yeah, but in college there's just so much free time and a critical mass of likeminded degens.

How old is so old? I'm pretty sure I'm considered "old" for just finishing undergrad, but everyone always thinks I'm 21-22ish. Gotta love them Filipino genes.

At 35 I feel about average at most of my games.
I guess when I play O8 during the series I'm on the young side.

Nice, you can be the creepy old guy at a nightclub without looking like the creepy old guy at a nightclub!

Most of what I know just comes from overhearing other people talk while I eat my luch alone in the corner. I obviously don't go to clubs. I'm no Ron Burgundy.

And clearly wouldn't be one of the oldest 7CS or O/8 players. I think the maroon Jag would be a great looking car.

Also, smart phone + texting. I have it, so you can text me if you want.

The Evo 3D. Need to wait for my SD card to get it completely set up. My wife knows the Google stuff, so she has all her email accounts and calendars going.

So, 2004 seems nice.

ok, i need some phrases i can use when the "lol pro" regular keeps educating the nice old person/recreational player, when he tells him he should have bet the river because its a safe card so he can c/r him, or when he talks about how good he is at reading hands, or when he talks to the dealer like he is the boss of her. OMG!

playing live feels like living in israel again, doesn't feel like america at all! (thats not a good thing, if someone didn't understood...)

i am very good at not talking/replying/responding, but sometimes it feels wrong - as if i am not helping a wounded animal, or an abused kid.

"Why are you trying to hustle [this nice gentleman;my friend;Mr. Jones, etc]?" if he coaches fish to play worse against him.

"Hey floor, get me a [room, food comp,upgrade,etc.]. You are a floor, right?" when he tries to tell the dealer his/her job.
05-14-2014 , 12:28 PM
"you know that internet stuff doesn't work here, right?"
"if I wanted to hear dumb ideas, I'd have stayed home with my husband"

after educating dealer
"you realize that you're getting dealt lousy hands for the next two hours, right?"

If you look at motorcycles, the expensive touring/sport-tourer bikes frequently come in this color (Honda VFR/Goldwing, Harleys, etc.). Same with expensive sporty cars (Jaguars, etc.).

So if you ever find yourself looking at a wine-colored car and think "that's a cool color!", well... you're officially old.
Sweet!!! we've got dark blue and silver still. Did I forget to mention I turned the 50 late last year? Aiyah!

PS. Don't have the data to back it up but I'm still way ahead playing the Frond (36o)
