Finally a game to play if you want raises to get some respect!

game was actually full with a long list for most of the day. the next day, management told all the 80 regulars they would only spread the 2/4 once a week max because they're afraid of people busting too quickly

Oh wow, didn't know it ran all day. I only saw it on my way out the door. Bakku, I'm one of those people lurking around the 80 game sometimes while I'm waiting for my 3/6 table. Maybe I've seen you behind one of those mountains of black chips.

My poker bankroll is so small that I couldn't even afford to raise in that 2/4 game.

Most of those 80 regs used to be 100 regs, so it doesn't seem like that should be a big concern.

I saw Chau Giang in there the other day. Was he the impetus to get the bigger game running?

Happens often (most days?) at Commerce and the games are 6-9 players. I was there Tue and saw a guy walk away from the 2/4 game w/ 3.5 racks ($35k). I did see a $2k/$4k game running there once.

It was full at one point? It was 3 handed when I walked in at 10pm that day. By 2am all the high stakes games broke except for the 20 game. A rare deep stack 2/3/5 NL (BI 300-1000) was also running that day.

A good prop job

I'd play 2/4 but honestly 8/16 and even 4/8 is much more fun

Must have walked by you as I was walking out...

They've been running the 2/3/5 NL deep stack for a little while now, I'd guess at least the last month or so.

chau has been playing here almost every day since the shooting star. the 2/4 went because a huge fish wanted to play

it started full around noon and stayed full until the fish busted. around 7pm i think?

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being none and 10 being all, what part of this epic fail is mine?

I was recaulking the toilet and used an old bottle. The tip was caked over so I cut off the point. Then, it still wouldn't squeeze out, so I put a knee on it and then the bottom popped off. I ended up scooping some of the stuff out with a spoon and applying it with my finger.

Are you not supposed to reuse old bottles of caulk? Is there some way to store it without a "skin" forming on top? (Presumably, the source of my problem.)

You did a ****ty job.

Next time don't use your finger; use a popsicle stick/coffee stirrer. (You can pick them up by the handful at the coffee station by the Oaks' dark-side games.)

Applying it with your finger around the base is how I have seen more than a few plumbers do it.

I couldn't find a better way of writing that without it sounding incredibly raunchy.
