Villain after small sample (~50 hands) 24/0/0.8 Villain seems like a passive callingstation. Is this easy 3town? I'd hate to get capped. Reason for limping == villains let me do it and most of the pots were multiway.

This situation depends a lot on the villain here. The villain here is pretty passive but the sample is small. He can't put you on a flush but the only hands that really got there on the river is two pair or a higher flush. I don't think you are missing too much value against this guy by calling here. It seems to me that a passive villain is going to put you on a straight here and only raise with a bigger flush but maybe he is showing some rare aggression after hitting two pair.

A passive villain is rarely raising less than a flush on a 4 straight/3 flush board.

He could have a slow played 7, or a 7,9 although they should be turn raises not river raises.

I dont see a set raising this river either.

All in all, I think only a call can be profitable.

i'd 3bet. we have a 50 hand sample which is basically an unknown. he might have hit two pair, slowplayed a straight, slowplayed a set, whatever. if he caps, it sucks and we've gotta call, but honestly, it's not happening very often at all(10-15% of the time tops i imagine).

Live this is closer to a fold than a 3-bet imo (but actually a solid call) imo. In this crazy online world of yours where unknown players occasionally play correctly and raise the river without the nuts, I am lost
