82hh in the bb, raised in EP, 4 callers to me, I call
flop 223r, checked around (I check here because it had been an aggressive table to this point and I didn't see it getting checked through. I think I played this street okay)
Turn 5, putting two diamonds on the board. I lead and am raised by the player that was UTG and limp/called the PFR. I smooth and we see a river diamonds and it goes check/call and he flips a7dd.
I knew I was beat when he fired on the end, but don't think the size of the pot would allow me to fold. I think my major error was not putting in another bet on the turn

agree with leo doc and mntndrew

donking this flop i don't mind actually since you won't always see a cbet on this kind of board so multiway

*G* btw

Yup, 3! the turn; and then presuming he only calls the 3!, I guess b/f the diamond river???? (though I could be biased based on the results posted)

I like your flop play however if your going to take a line like that it's 100% get as many bets as possible on the turn given your board. Unlucky river but if you play that line in a 50,000 hand strategy you will have a huge edge.

an aggressive table is a great reason to bet out. lots of hands weaker than trips can bet and many ags will raise a lead in this case.

grunch

fyp

EDIT: I don't mean to level but even if your read is "aggressive" I'm still donking here because of the huge mult-way pot ... the loss of having it get checked through (as they would on this flop bc it doesn't hit their range) out-weighs the times you will bet it and get value from the multitudes of players in the pot who will call you with worse ... so I bet here. It's a great spot to balance your play as well with donking between draws and made hands and pure bluffs - not just on the flop, but on all streets. And yes 3! the turn!
