I once had to stand up in Spanish class and draw a bombilla (lightbulb).

So I drew an upside-down screw-in lightbulb with a threaded "tip" on top and lines extending from it like light rays and it ended up looking exactly like a hairy penis.

Hilarity ensued. The teacher did not find my drawing funny.

Freshman year in college, a group of us were talking about our balls.

"Why is it," a girl asked, "that when guys talk about their ball they say, 'balls'?"

Silence.

"Um, because there are two of them?" someone finally responded.

"YOU HAVE TWO??!!" she gasped.

Absolute, stunned silence.

It turns out that her high school boyfriend had just one, and pictures in sex ed were always shown side on, so, yeah, she was totally shocked that there were twice as many testicles in the room as she thought there was.

Even today, 20+ years later, any discussion which involves the word "balls" will inevitably have someone interject, "You have two?"
