1 limp early, hero raises AQ, blinds and limper call.

Flop: Q3T

Turn: 6

They ck, I bet, sb fold, bb c/r, I 3!, bb calls.

I 3! here with the intention of checking down UI and thinking this guy wearing a 'grampas are awesome' shirt can't r/r w/o my good A. Further, the awesome grampa did raise it up earlier with 53s and in post game analysis sited boredom as catalyst. The game has gone late and is heading for eventual breakdown which seems to have put this table in a gambling mood. so I FSDR with option to buy if x comes.

River: A

bb check, Hero???

Anyone poo poo on turn?
Who am I taking to value town with a bet on river?

Has this guy been crazy postflop or is he just playing a poor selection of starting hands (there's a big difference between a pre-flop maniac and a post-flop maniac)? The problem with FSDRing is a) if you think he's is raising pretty thinly, then you should just go ahead and raise the turn AND bet the river, b) if you think he could be bluffing or doing something pretty spewy, then why would you want to not allow him to raise and barrel with a hopeless hand, and c) if you think you MIGHT be behind, then why would you put in more bets on the turn with the worst of it?

So what's our read that makes us want to b/3! that turn, and check behind this river?

If we think we can showdown here, why not showdown by calling down?

As played, at this level I think checking back is marginally correct (I haven't seen worse than 2p raising me on big streets at this level on a 3-flush board, or at least none that I can recall), so I'm not sure how much value you have to seek w/ a hand that's overrepped for the standard at this level.

Turn 3bet sucks.

edit: You're drawing with no fold equity.

I think there are 10 sb btf.

3 on the turn works only if you think he is bluff raising but will do it on only one street. Your "river" bet on the turn is a good play when you have some show down value plus some fold equity. The fold equity probably does not exist here. Just call the c/r.

I would value bet the river if he checks and will only call if he leads.

Turn 3bet is awful. River hasn't changed your relative hand strength so why would your plan change?

So for all those hating on the turn 3! are you folding the river UI?
