UTG villain is an unknown.

The diamond doesnt really scare me. There are not too many villains who would give THAT turn action with a flush draw, although of course it is a possibility.

I am not sure if the diamond did subconciously scare me a little, or whether I had myself SO convinced he had AA that I would not have raised the river unless it was a K.

I felt like the way I played the hand I could only have AA,KK or AK. Given I have the K's tied up, I felt villain could only have AA. I mean, A8 slows down here right ?

SO absent of a read that villain is a spew monkey, how do you play the river and does this change if river was the 7 ?

utg would really play AA that poorly? Looks more like 88 that he decided to "slowplay." (what a moronic line to take with 2 pr, AA, 88, 33 or fd)

FWIW: I think he has A8.

Meh, the fact that button is putting in this much action leads me to believe he has an Ace. I wouldn't be surprised if UTG showed up with 8d 7d here.

It's 88 more than anything.

If villain is ******ed enough to limp/call AA multiway and then lucky enough to flop set-over-set, he gets my money this time.

and to not 3-bet the flop with it, either. It's either 88 or A8 that "waited for a safe turn card."

I raise call the river at least

that river card might as well have been the 9 of horseshoes.
