Excellent info as I will be in Arizona at the end of September for business and will try to swing past Talking Stick.

+1 on excellent info. I may be in Arizona with wife in Sep so great to learn how Talking Stick games are. Doubtful I'll have time for Talking Stick though.

Still think Commerce games are best if that's Bike now in LA.

Commerce games have been godly lately. I’ve been taking a break due to starting a new job, recently came back and they have just been insanely good.

Even the 40 is back, though haven’t been playing that just have friends that do.

Great info.

Commerce 20/40+ LHE most profitable IMO based on small sample size although highest I've played is 60/120 when it uses to run.

I'd PM ninefingershuffle and/or Sean Snyder for more info.

15/30 LHE sounds epic, think you will win next 100 seasons Nittyoldman1

OT: Canterbury 15/30 & 30/60 when it used to run were phenomenal. Can't compare to 60/120 at Commerce when it used to run

Its interesting to me. To imagine what kind of bullshit you guys have been doing since online limit holdem became too tough for me to pursue further. Some are mathematicians. Some are carpenters wives. Me? Specialties still include picking things up and putting them down, but small field no limit holdem tourney bot has been added to the resume.

Happy hustling.

Private games ftw post black Friday for me. Bob148, you would crush markets via trading stocks, options, bonds, fx, futures, crypto. Takes about 1-5 day to learn per free resources online.

I think you would excel at any hustling you choose as side income, congratulations on small field NL Tourney bot winnings!

Never had interest in trading. Dream jobs include but not limited to (animal protection services muscle) and (catcher in the rye).

Sounds great. Great way to make side passive income. Similar to sports betting & dfs. Imo poker, trading, sports betting is free money if willing to invest risk capital.

And here I thought Bob148 was still on the road, heading for another joint.

I've been going to Reno a lot, staying at Eldorado or Silver Legacy, to run up my status in Caesars Rewards so that I can cut the lines at the WSOP. Silver Legacy poker room has a 1-3 match-the-stack NLHE game and a 3-6 LHE game with a full kill. When the weekly promotions run on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings, my Seven Stars status gets me $20/hour in comps for sitting at a poker table -- it's almost like being a prop.

I'll often play 3-6 while waiting for a seat in the NL game. It's odd, though. The other players treat me like I just took a dump in the punch bowl because of the way I raise and reraise preflop. It doesn't stop them from playing multiple bets to see the flop, though.

I heard he drifted down to New Orleans, but I lost track of him after that.

You already have Seven Stars status and you need to run up your status?

I'd never heard that higher status cards got more comps per hour.

It's at specific times, Sundays 10AM to 6PM and Mondays 4PM to Midnight, during which a multiplier is applied for Rewards Credits earned: 3x for Platinum, 8x for Diamond, and 10x for Seven Stars. The poker room gives seated players 200 RC (equivalent of $2) per hour, and if one is playing while the multiplier promotion is in effect, one earns the extra RC

Live LHE seems to be slowing dying out in MN.

Did the betting rules change? Or their "tourneys" took over?

A bunch of the fish went broke, summer us a slow time and the Mix is much more popular now. Like you aren’t guaranteed to get 40/80 or 20/40 going anymore and both used to be daily.

because im a dork i did a sim where i gave myself 99 on a 9 handed table and simulated "realistic" action in a loose game. out of 20 hands the 99 lost 17 of them including 9 in a row at one point.

i no longer wonder why it seems i cant win with 99, ever.

YOLO.

Can't win pots without wagering. I play nit TAG and raise 77+ UTG as fish at games I play creative TAG / LAP / LAG / etc that'll randomly cold call -EV hands as gamble.

No gamble no future
