Hey man I'm sorry I've been asking a million questions. But I just got a new comp today and I was trying to keep all my information, so I transferred all my files over to the new computer and all the icons that make regs and fish are stuck with a red !. How do I fix this? Is there a way to transfer all that info over instead of having to rebuild? What is the file name that has the fish and regs on it? Can I just add that one file and it work?

No problem, the red ! means that the database connection failed. So you need to go to Database > Database Management and delete the databases there and re-add them for your new computer

The database added, but can I import the tags I have on players from my old computer? I have all the original files from TST in a folder, I just don't know which one to use/replace?

Just make sure TST is closed on your new computer then copy the whole TableScan Turbo\config\ directory over from the old computer, everything except for the databases should work fine. The buddy list is in buddy_list.config

That's because of the databases.config, if you want to copy every file except for databases.config you won't have any problems, or you can just copy the whole directory and then go in tablescan > databases > manage databases and fix the databases there

I am planning to try server side scanning in the future but it is a pretty costly thing to set it up as it requires a lot of computers to scan all day, so although I actually did a lot of the programming for it a long time ago I've been waiting to release v1.0 before I start thinking about buying hardware for that. And just so you understand, it's not actually instant, the list will populate faster but the tables still need to be scanned, they're just being scanned on the server before sending them to you, so the results end up being on a delay, to make the delay smaller would require even more hardware. Anyways, I know it's taking me way too long but I am really close to releasing 1.0 and I do already have a few extra computers so I will implement start to serverside most likely in the next few months and see if it's something people want

Would this server-side scanning just be an add-on for when we are not online ourselves?

No, the idea is just if you scan a lot of tables or stakes, then instead of scanning it yourself I will have computers scanning and updating a central server and you can just get all the tables from the server, it would just make the list of players/tables in TST load faster which is good for very large scans or people who don't like scanning client side

No, that's not possible, I wouldn't want to do that anyways.
As far as I can tell they have not actually implemented the hud integration feature themselves so there's no way for me to try to add it until they do

Just opened TST for the first time in a while and it just stays in my task bar ( ? ) at the bottom of my screen.

I can right click and maximize but cannot alter the size at all ...cannot remember having such problems before.

Suggestions ?

This is a great piece of software!

Do not under any circumstance think of a server solution, as this would get this software in trouble in a US opening of online poker (no logical reasoning would apply).

There is something wrong with regards to Partypoker, there are players that show up as unknown even though I have hands on them in my database according to the HUD. And my players known % is as low as 55% nowadays compared to 90% a couple of weeks ago and I am still importing datamined hands everyday.

It will be the same. I have of course still been doing bug fixes and a few improvements since the last update and adding support for more skins so those will be in it. I have basically put a hold on adding a lot of features that I want to add just so I could focus on bugfixing and releasing 1.0. But after I do I have a ton of features and improvements to add

If you go in C:\Program Files(x86)\TableScan Turbo\config\settings.config and open it with notepad, the very first key should be "StartPosition", change the first 2 numbers in the "value" to 0,0 and that should probably fix your issue

Thanks Well, just to clarify, with server-side scanning that I was talking about does not actually send you any statistics on any of the players, it just sends you the list of tables and players but it still just takes the stats from your own database, there are other legal programs already doing that. Of course being allowed on all pokersites is extremely important to me and I would never do anything to jeopardize that.

The most likely thing is that maybe you started a new database but you didn't add it or set it active in TST. Go to Database > Manage Databases > Detect Databases and see if TableScan finds any new databases. If that's not the issue, then you can also check Database > Database Filters and see if there's anything checked in that window that could be causing that discrepancy. It's also possible if you are using PT3 that you have TableScan set to read from the player cache, but somehow the player cache has not been updated recently in PT3
